本物のロマニロスと見紛う出来栄え！
清水優一氏製作：Romanillosモデル（2018年）!!

弊社では２本目の入荷となる、清水優一氏のロマニロス・モデル。
前回は2017年No.5年、でしたが、今回はその次作品となります。
前作と同様ロゼッタやヘッドのデコレーションはロマニロスのオリジナル作品と同じく組み木細工製でデザインもほぼ同じです。

普通ならオリジナルと全く同じように作りや見映えをコピーをしても、どうしてもイミテーション感まではぬぐえず、その差異が少なからず音に反映するモノですが、この清水氏のロマニロス・コピーは本物のロマニロス感が漂いラベルを仮にロマニロス・オリジナルと貼り替えてみたとしら本物と全く見分けがつかないと思います。

絵描きは巨匠の模写から修業を始めますが、絵と違ってギター製作家の場合は見た目もさることながら、最終目標としては名工の音に近づくために、或いは同じ音を求めて、コピーを行います。
そのプロセスは、自分特有の作風や癖を一旦は完全に封殺し、モデルとする作者に成りきる覚悟が必要で、これは言うほど容易いことではなく、想像を絶する困難な作業を伴います。
清水氏は絵描きで言えばそういった完璧な模写に成功するだけでなく、絵の裏側にある巨匠の魂までも写し取ったと言えます。
ロマニロスの音を良く知る者にとってはこの作品から高音にしても低音にしてもオリジナルに共通した雰囲気を感じとることでしょう。
また、響きの広がり具合が全く本物と変わらないのです！

ロマニロスの作品は太めに仕上げたネックが多いですが、この清水氏のは標準的でロマニロスに比べて弾きやすい形状になっています。

表面板には補修で綺麗に取れる小さな傷が散見される程度で非常に良い状態です。

年に3本しか製作しないとのことなので、今回の入荷は非常に貴重でしょう。

This model is a tribute to the late Jose Luis Romanillos.
This instrument is our second acquired Yuichi Shimizu’s Romanillos model. We acquired the first model [No.5] in 2017, and this model is consecutively made piece.
Similar to the previous model, the aesthetic details, most notably in the head shape and inlay work in the rosette are in the Romanillos style,

When making a tribute piece, luthier tries to imitate its original work by copying its structure and aesthetic detail, leaving a slight difference in between. Yet with this beautiful piece made by Luthier Shimizu, the sound and aesthetic detail is so genuine, that one will not be able to distinguish it if the instrument had its original Rommanillos label on it.

A painter begins his training by copying a master, but unlike painting, luthier learns to make a guitar not only by copying its structure and aesthetic details but also by reenacting the sound of masterpieces.
And the process of making a tribute piece is unimaginably difficult, that luthier needs to shut out his own style and literally become the master himself. This process is easier said than done.

Luthier Shimizu not only succeeds in such a perfect reproduction, but also revived his master’s soul.

For those who know the sound of Romanillos, they will be satisfied with its sound throughout the entire register, and you will be amazed with Luthier Shimizu’s meticulous work and skill to recreate its tonality and full sound.

Playability is easy with a sleek, comfortable neck, unlike those with bolder, thicker necks mostly seen with Romanillos tribute works.

There are some small scratches on the sound board, but other than that, overall condition is in a very good shape.

It is said that only 3 to 4 pieces are made per year by Luthier Shimizu, so this newly arrived instrument is very rare and very much worth considered for.
